Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue Basis of Estimate for project cost estimates.
• Maintain project cost estimates including scope, assumptions, man‑hour estimates and narratives.
• Facilitate internal review of estimates and obtain approvals.
• Deliver estimates to Wood management and client for approval.
• Issue updates to estimates in a controlled manner.
• Liaise with Project Controls to align budget and schedule with the approved estimate.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, subcontract and construction functions to capture accurate costs.
• Ensure filing of estimates and update estimating databases.
• Review and issue change orders per proper procedures.
• Communicate cost and schedule impact of change notifications.
• Lead Project Controls compliance and continuous improvement reviews.
• Mentor and develop estimating personnel.
• Align with Wood processes, procedures and guidelines.
• Promote use of standard estimating systems and work methods.
• Coordinate estimate plan and development with the project team.
• Ensure overall development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the total Project Estimate Basis.
• Arrange and conduct department, discipline, and project estimate reviews.
• Present estimates to Wood and client management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (ISCED level 6) in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience on Saudi Aramco projects within a design contractor.
• Familiarity with Aspen Capital Cost Program or K‑Base.
• Proficient in 56‑D estimate summary sheet and estimating planes.
• Engineering experience in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive industry experience, with at least six in estimating roles.
• Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, project management principles and cost‑management systems.
• Prior senior estimating role experience.
