Overview

Electrical Engineer opportunities in Saudi Arabia across multiple cities, including Riyadh, Dammam, Jubail, Khobar, Jeddah, Tabouk, and more. Roles cover design, on-site supervision, testing, maintenance, commissioning, and project management within electrical and instrumentation systems for construction and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical design, layouts, wiring, and single-line diagrams using appropriate design software; ensure compliance with local and international standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals, while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Manage site activities, inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems; support troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Prepare electrical drawings, perform load calculations, design lighting and distribution systems, and develop BOMs as needed.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to codes, quality standards, and safety protocols; promote a safe working environment.
• Support procurement, scheduling, and project management activities as required, including coordinating with suppliers and contractors.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and maintenance personnel where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Typically 3–15+ years of relevant experience depending on the seniority of the role, with demonstrated expertise in electrical design, instrumentation, high/medium/low voltage systems, and/or substation design.
• Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit), and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage for certain positions.
• Project management, commissioning, maintenance planning, and safety compliance experience are beneficial for several roles.
• Ability to work across diverse projects and locations in Saudi Arabia, with willingness to travel or relocate as required.
