We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, specifically in document control roles within the consultancy sector, with a focus on site supervision for projects such as roads, tunnels, bridges, and highways.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Manage the creation, review, distribution, and archiving of documents such as reports, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Version Control: Maintain accurate version control of documents to ensure that stakeholders are accessing the most up-to-date information.
  • Document Retrieval: Establish efficient systems for document retrieval and ensure documents are readily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of documents.
  • Compliance: Ensure that document management processes comply with relevant regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on document management processes and software systems.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as project managers, engineers, and administrative staff, to facilitate document-related processes and workflows.
  • Security: Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive documents by implementing appropriate access controls and security measures.
  • Auditing: Conduct regular audits of document management processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve document management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control roles within the consultancy sector, with a focus on site supervision for infrastructure projects such as roads, tunnels, bridges, and highways.
  • Saudi National
  • Proven experience in document control or records management role.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to document management (e.g., ISO standards) is a plus.
  • Certification in document management (e.g., Certified Document Controller) is desirable.
  • Saudi national.
