Job Summary
As a Digital & Solution Operation Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for the operational management, deployment, and maintenance of business-critical applications and back-end systems within the telecom environment.
You will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for API integrations, manage DevOps practices, and ensure timely resolution or escalation of application-related issues. Additionally, you will handle internal stakeholder complaints, maintain application performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support key digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of business applications, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Execute and monitor DevOps workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, and release management.
- Serve as the Integration SPOC for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating seamless onboarding of new integrations via existing APIs.
- Escalate and track bugs/incidents to development or L3 support teams, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support business units in addressing application-related issues and prioritizing complaints.
- Oversee patching, upgrades, and maintenance of application and backend environments.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams on system monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain clear documentation for operational workflows, deployment processes, and integration points.
- Ensure compliance with telecom regulations, data security policies, and internal governance standards.
- Provide Level 2 (L2) support, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures or escalate as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Optimize applications for speed, stability, and responsiveness across both frontend and backend.
- Ensure adherence to CST guidelines and relevant data privacy regulations.
- Research and implement emerging technologies (e.g., AI tools, serverless architectures) to enhance operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application operations, DevOps, or similar technical roles — preferably in the telecom sector.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, application deployment, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with structured logging, error monitoring, and application performance metrics.
- Proficiency in API integration (RESTful/SOAP).
- Strong knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases and their operational management.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of OSS/BSS systems is a plus.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and incident management is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Work Hours:
- Sunday to Thursday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (including lunch break)
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (including lunch break)
