Job summary

A leading automotive service company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Mechanical Technician with experience in diagnosing and repairing trucks and buses. The ideal candidate will have a high certificate in automotive education and be able to work independently in Jeddah, Riyadh, or Abqaiq. Bilingual in Arabic and English is a must for reading service literature and communicating with clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnosing and repairing Trucks and buses required.
• Knowledge of new diesel engine technology is important.
• Ability to read and understand service literature in English is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM service and repairs on engines and other vehicles.
• Determine root causes of mechanical failures.
• Work independently while ensuring quality of work.

Skills

Mechanical Knowledge

Experience in commercial vehicles

Ability to speak Arabic

Ability to speak English

Technical background of Truck & Bus

Education

High Certificate or Institute Diploma of Automotive

Job description

Responsibilities

• Have a good mechanical hand skills.
• Able to diagnosis and repair Trucks and buses.
• Carry the required PM service.
• Able to determine the root cause of the failure.
• Have a good background about the new diesel engine technology.
• Able to remove/ repair Engine, Gearbox, Brakes, etc.
• To have understanding of motor vehicle technology
• Be able to read and understand English for service literature
• Have the ability to work single-handed
• To produce good quality work within the time requested
• To be able to use special tools and equipment including measuring and diagnostic

• Abqaiq (Eastern Region)

Skills

• Mechanical Knowledge (experience in commercial vehicles).
• Positive attitude and good conduct & manners with colleagues and customers
• Years of Experience in the same role in 3 years.
• Speaking Arabic and English
• Technical background of Truck & Bus is advantaged
• High Certificate or Institute Diploma of Automotive or related education equivalent
