Black & Grey HR is partnering with a well-established retail group in Saudi Arabia for their supermarket division. Our client is looking for a Demand Planner who will be responsible for ensuring optimal product availability, efficient inventory management, and accurate sales forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts across all supermarket product categories using statistical models, historical sales data, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with category managers, supply chain, and sales teams to align demand plans with business objectives and promotional activities.
  • Monitor sales trends, seasonal demand patterns, and market dynamics to adjust forecasts and prevent stock‑outs or overstocking.
  • Ensure accurate inventory planning and replenishment strategies to achieve targeted service levels and minimize waste.
  • Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Track forecast accuracy, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management on demand trends, forecast accuracy, and inventory status.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in demand planning tools, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
  • Knowledge of supermarket operations, product assortment, and local market trends in KSA is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
