    • Facilitate experiences with Arabic and world percussion instruments, including but not limited to darbuka, daf, riq, frame drums, piano and handpan.
    • Introduce guests to intuitive music‑making techniques, focusing on rhythmic coordination, listening, and mindful movement through sound.
    • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where guests of all musical backgrounds can explore expression through music.
    • Offer personalized guidance in instrument use, adapting techniques to suit each guest’s comfort level and goals.
  • Program Development & Cross‑Disciplinary Integration:
    • Design signature music experiences that align with Miraval’s seasonal programming or emotional exploration themes.
    • Collaborate with Wellness, Fitness, and Movement teams to integrate sound and rhythm into broader wellness offerings.
    • Develop specialized sessions such as sunset drumming circles, meditative sound journeys, or rhythm‑based stress relief workshops.
    • Stay current with trends in music therapy, sound meditation, and expressive arts to ensure offerings remain innovative and relevant.
  • Operational Excellence & Cultural Sensitivity:
    • Maintain and care for all musical instruments, ensuring they are properly cleaned, tuned, and stored.
    • Set up creative spaces with intention, ensuring an organized, serene, and culturally respectful environment.
    • Adhere to health, safety, and hospitality protocols as outlined by Miraval and Saudi Arabia’s wellness and cultural guidelines.

    • Assist the Guest Experience teams when needed, offering seamless support to ensure smooth scheduling and operations.
  • Professional Development, Innovation & Revenue Support:
    • Participate in Miraval’s professional training and team development sessions, continually refining facilitation techniques.
    • Share innovative ideas for music‑based offerings that reflect emerging wellness trends and cultural relevance.
    • Support spa and well‑being revenue goals by mindfully promoting private music sessions, instrument kits, or musical retail items that enhance the guest journey.
    • Contribute content or expertise for wellness education, articles, or media highlighting Miraval’s music‑based experiences.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or formal training in Music Education, Music Therapy, Performing Arts, or related field.
