Qualifications

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cortex Software Tester with experience in the banking domain to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and validating Cortex-based banking applications to ensure functionality, accuracy, and reliability before deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for Cortex applications.
• Review business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans and strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, log, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues.
• Validate new features, configurations, and enhancements in the banking systems.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with quality standards and project goals.
• Prepare and present test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
• Hands‑on experience with Cortex platform (Digital Banking Solutions).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
• Experience with JIRA, Postman, or other testing and bug‑tracking tools.
• Good knowledge of API testing, SQL queries, and data validation.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, or similar).
• Knowledge of banking workflows such as payments, loans, or account management.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
