We are seeking a highly experienced and technically competent Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead and manage all technical aspects of our solar PV business in the Saudi Arabia. This leadership role requires deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and proven experience in large-scale solar PV projects.
The CTO will be responsible for guiding the company’s technical vision, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian grid standards, leading project execution, supervising engineering teams, and supporting business development initiatives. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in solar PV engineering, project implementation, and technical leadership.

Key Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Renewable Energy preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically solar photovoltaic systems. Out of the 8 years, at least 3 years of professional experience in Saudi Arabia/UAE working with solar PV projects.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic (speaking and writing), Bengali preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding and hands‑on experience with On‑Grid, Off‑Grid, and Hybrid Solar PV Systems.
- Sound knowledge of Saudi Arabian grid standards, electrical & electronics compliance, and SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company's technical strategy and vision, aligning it with overall business goals and market trends.
- Oversee the research, development, and integration of new technologies and innovations in solar PV systems. Ensure the company stays at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Supervise the execution of major solar PV projects, ensuring technical quality and alignment with company standards and client expectations.
- Lead and manage the technical team, including engineers, designers, and other technical staff. Foster professional development and ensure effective team performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical discussions with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners. Address high‑level technical queries and concerns.
- Establish and enforce technical standards and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of solar PV projects.
- Oversee the technical budget, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure cost‑effective solutions while maintaining high standards.
- Identify new business opportunities and technical solutions that can drive growth and enhance the company’s competitive edge.
- Assess and mitigate technical risks associated with projects and technology deployments.Ensure all technical practices and projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, research institutions, and other stakeholders to support the company's strategic goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the management on technical progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Oversee the development and implementation of training programs for technical staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest technologies and practices.
- Drive strategic initiatives to expand the company’s market presence and technical capabilities.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- a) B.Sc. in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering discipline.
- b) Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
- c) SEC Solar PV Engineer approval (preferred).
