Senior Team Manager – Bakery Business Unit (Quality Department) – Hail

About the Role

Initiate, identify, manage and follow‑up of all continuous improvements triggered via customer complaints, non‑compliances, reefer delivery non‑compliances, rejects and dumps, hygiene audits by ensuring a continual pro‑active approach to Operations.

Activities

• Work closely with functional managers to investigate and resolve quality issues arising through customer complaints or internal problems and recommend procedures or methods that need to be introduced or corrected.
• Maintain quality services within the agreed budgets.
• Coordinate and give advice to quality improvement and/or HACCP project groups.
• Prepare the annual plans and undertake the quality/GMP audits and identify the scope for continual improvements.
• Analyse non‑compliances and prepare trends and update the management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 5 (five) years of experience in a QA department, preferable in the food and/or bakery industry.
• Familiarity with quality systems/auditing services such as AIB, ISO 9001‑2000, ISO 22000, GMP, risk assessments and other quality systems.
• Good spoken English.
• Ability to cascade the policies of management down the ranks.
• Ability to drive meetings and influence functional managers for implementation of quality‑related actions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to respond to customer queries in a timely manner and to ensure the effective implementation of needed actions, as well as to interact with cross‑functional managers for the implementation of the actions needed.
