Job summary

A leading airline in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified pilot to conduct flights, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. Applicants must have substantial flight experience and a valid GACA license. The ideal candidate will have experience on A320 aircraft and strong emergency response skills. This position offers an opportunity to significantly contribute to flight operations while maintaining a positive corporate image.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5000 hours of total flying experience.
  • At least 2000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in commercial jet aircraft.
  • Minimum of 800 hours PIC on A320 family and current on type.

  • Conduct assigned flights as per Company Operational Manual.
  • Ensure safety, security, and efficiency throughout all operated flights.

Special Note

Preference will be given to Saudi Nationals holding a current A320 rating and a valid GACA license. Non‑Saudi Nationals who meet the below requirements and are currently based in GCC countries will also be considered.

Job Purpose

To conduct assigned flights in accordance with the detailed provisions of Company Operational Manual and in compliance with the GACA related regulations. He/she must ensure ultimate safety, security, and efficiency are achieved throughout all operated flights; supports and guides the flight/cabin crew, handles emergencies and ad‑hoc scenarios effectively, and takes control over the flight to ensure successful performance and positive corporate image.

Flies the aircraft from one destination to another in accordance with the given schedules and approved flight plans; carries his/her duties and acts as the ultimate responsible for the aircraft during the assigned flights taking into account the following key factors, in order of priority: Safety, Efficiency & Passenger comfort.

Experience, Qualifications and Requirments
  • Minimum of 5000 hours total flying experience with minimum of 2000 hours PIC (Pilot in command) in a commercial jet aircraft.
  • Minimum of 800 hours PIC on A320 family and current on type.
  • Trainers with TRE/ TRI/ LTC experience will be given preference.
  • Valid licenses, valid Class 1 medical and Valid IR
  • Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification- Minimum level 4
  • Holding a current & valid GACA or ICOA ATPL.
  • He/she must pass the technical & psychometric assessment, and Medical Fitness Check up for Pilots as per Company/GACA standards.
  • Training in safety and emergency response is essential – a formal qualification is an advantage.
  • Basic Airport, security procedures and regulations training is an advantage.
  • Crew Resources Management Training is considered an advantage.
  • IATA principles & standards relating to security is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Aircraft systems, proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet and Web Search, Technical reports writing, presentations, etc
  • Experience with low-cost airline is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Age - Maximum 59 years at the time of application
