The successful candidate will scout and develop investment opportunities, manage strategic agreements, and support business growth through technology and market analysis. With at least 10 years of experience in the petrochemical industry and strong communication and analytical skills, you will play a key role in driving the company’s strategic initiatives.

Job Purpose
  • Scouting and developing investment opportunities, managing strategic agreements, and supporting business growth through technology and market analysis.
Description
  • Scout, identify, and develop commercial business case and feasibility studies for organic and inorganic investment opportunities in the petrochemical and chemical industry (e.g. brownfield, greenfield projects, and merger and acquisitions).
  • Scout for technology-based business opportunities and investment for growth, and develop the business opportunities, accordingly.
  • Identify synergistic business opportunities between the Company’s affiliates and across the industry for enhanced industrial integrations.
  • Identify and evaluate the latest relevant petrochemical technologies and trends which can be adopted by Advanced for Growth Projects and to improve manufacturing productivity.
  • Manage communications with external parties to support the development of new business growth ideas.
  • Negotiate and manage key strategic agreements such as (joint venture, technology, key raw materials, catalysts, etc.) that could directly impact the Corporate Strategy.
  • Provide commercial and project development support to the project execution team of approved investment opportunities, as required.
  • Continuously assess the Company’s technological and market position for the current business activities.
  • Provide recommendations to the strategic planning process for the Company’s long-term competitive strategy.
  • Provide commercial and technical inputs to the strategic planning process on any opportunities and risks based on market trends, contractual agreements, etc.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead internal meetings especially with Technical, Commercial and Supply Chain functions team to discuss and develop potential improvement ideas that support the business growth.
  • Support the Corporate functions preparation of techno-commercial analysis on the implementation of the improved, new product, process, or equipment for the outcome discussions to the Senior Management team that support go or no-go decision.
  • Support joint venture affairs and partnership relationship management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
Preferred degrees and certificates
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Engineering Management
  • Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Minimum 10 Years of experience in the petrochemical industry with good understanding of the petrochemical value chains and applications.

Minimum 5 Years of experience in job functions dealing with strategy, business/project development, merger and acquisitions, and/or market and application development.
