A leading automation solutions company seeks a part-time SCADA/Automation Sales Engineer to lead projects and engage with customers in the Riyadh region. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and expertise in IIoT and SCADA technologies. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring satisfaction for future projects. Compensation is performance-based, with the potential to earn up to 25,000 SAR per month.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with IIoT and SCADA systems.

Job description

This role is for part time SCADA/Automation Sales Engineer. However, Candidate is expected to lead projects and will be well-rewarded

We are approved by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources among a limited number of companies to provide our services to the industrial sector

Candidate must be familiar with IIoT and SCADA systems, including -but not limited to-: Ignition, AVEVA, ThingWorx

Candidate must be fully aware of new technologies especially regarding SCADA/MES/ERP systems

Candidate will lead the sales and engineering functions, and is expected to have connections within Saudi Arabia that will help him land his first project

Candidate is welcome to work remotely as a sales engineer before landing his first project, however, once a project is landed, candidate is expected to work full time in Saudi Arabia and to work in the field.

Compensation will be 100% dependent on performance, and may reach up to 25k SAR/month given certain targets.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace across the industry, including, but not limited to:
    • Customers’ organizations, decision influencers, future plans & projects
    • Competitor’s situation, products, offerings
    • Suppliers’ situation, products, offerings
    • General technical developments in the company’s domain, segments, and verticals within the region, and Keep updated on automation and instruments market business and product trends
  2. Identify new business opportunities to grow in the markets and develop “go to market” strategies to drive business to the end customer.
  3. Perform customer site surveys and identify potential up‑coming opportunities.
  4. Maintain relationships with customers to ensure highest satisfaction levels and future business.
  5. Act as a consultant to multiple levels of the customer’s organization by understanding their challenges and recommending solutions/services to ensure their systems perform as required.
  6. Build strategic relationships with suppliers, and ensure receiving long‑term competitive prices from them.
  7. Prepare estimates and collaborate with internal proposal team to develop value‑based proposals and presentations for customers.
  8. Co‑ordinate with project team, review contracts, ensure smooth handover, attend project kick‑off meetings and support in collection of receivable.
  9. Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities, achieve new order/booking and profit goals.
  10. Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  11. Report to Sales Manager / Dept. Manager.
Compensation

Candidate will be tested with a compensation of SR 3,000/month, due when the first project is landed. Candidate will have the opportunity to represent a professional company that is well‑established within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
