The Project

This is an opportunity to work on a large luxury-use development in Riyadh, KSA. Mace are providing project management consultancy services. This role is responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and delivering project and programme management activities for external clients, ensuring successful completion and continuous improvement of projects. The position involves conducting analysis and reviews to inform plans, processes, and procedures, driving efficiency and excellence across delivery. You will lead day-to-day management and provide strong leadership to achieve all external project objectives and KPIs, while supporting internal goals where required. The role carries accountability for appointments valued between approximately £2.5m and £6m in Mace fee, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Lead end‑to‑end project delivery from inception to post‑completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, proactively identifying risks, challenges, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Champion safety and wellbeing, promoting Mace’s “Safety First” values and HSW framework, sharing lessons learned and best practices.
  • Drive collaboration and stakeholder engagement, managing client, consultant, and contractor teams while influencing senior external stakeholders up to C‑suite level.
  • Oversee programme development, integrating design, procurement, and delivery schedules, and ensuring timely sequencing and staging plans.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, supporting broader Mace projects and contributing to business development, bidding, reporting, and commercial strategy.
  • Lead and develop teams, managing Senior Managers, Managers, and Assistant Managers while fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Embed sustainability and digital excellence, aligning delivery with net zero carbon goals, service quality, and Mace’s strategic priorities.
You’ll Need To Have
  • Professional accreditation such as MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE (or local equivalent) with relevant safety certification (e.g., CSCS or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in successful construction delivery and demonstrable expertise in project management across complex programmes.
  • Degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience/apprenticeship, combined with strong technical knowledge and practical application.
