Introduction

General Description

The members of PMU’s Graphic Design faculty will:

  • Perform their duties in alignment with the university’s values, standards, and policies, maintaining high professional standards and leading by example.
  • Collaborate with students as part of a learning community to provide a world‑class education and an excellent student experience.

Qualifications & Experience (Required)
  • A Ph.D. in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Multimedia, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • A minimum of four years of university‑level teaching experience, a track record of research and publication, and professional practice in graphic design, computer graphics, or multimedia are desirable.
  • Expertise in innovative teaching and hands‑on experience in courses like UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, and Interactive Animation.
  • Minimum of 2–4 Scopus Q1 papers per year in relevant fields is essential.
  • Excellent English language skills and comfort in a technology‑enhanced academic environment.
  • For higher positions (Associate/Full Professor), a letter of promotion verifying the candidate’s rank is necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Required)

Candidates should specialise in innovative and interdisciplinary approaches in Graphic Design and Multimedia, including but not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include contributing to curriculum development, innovative teaching, student guidance, maintaining professional development, and participating in the school’s and college’s management and administrative functions.

Remuneration and Benefits

PMU offers an income tax‑free compensation package, commensurate with rank and experience, including 12‑month salary, PMU accommodation, annual vacation, and annual round‑trip airfare to the home country, medical insurance and end‑of‑contract benefits.
