The accountant will be responsible for managing all accounting and payroll activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and updating the mandatory governmental portal, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires a detail‑oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Missions
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Manage payroll activities.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, ZACTA and payroll taxes.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper internal controls are in place.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to management and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Provide support for financial analysis and decision‑making processes.
  • Oversee all administrative functions including governmental relations (MOL, GOSI, QIWA… ETC).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Saudi labor laws, municipal regulations, and other relevant legal requirements across all administrative operations.
  • Coordinate with various departments to provide effective administrative support and address any operational issues promptly.
  • Support the company’s public relations activities by maintaining positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government entities.
  • Support managing director and employees with administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, report preparation, and meeting coordination.
  • Maintain and update employee records in both physical and digital formats.
  • As part of Axens group, the accountant could be integrated in Axens project taking place in other group entities.
  • In the field of Quality, Hygiene, Safety, and Environment, the accountant must promote good HSE practices, ensure field feedback, and record HSE deviations and/or incidents.
  • Participate in QHSE audit programs & ensure application of Axens’ Quality Management Policy, procedures, and alignment with the QHSE objectives defined by the CEO.
KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIRED LEVEL
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of local accounting regulations and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills & strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of GOSI, Mudad, QIWA, and other government systems is a plus.
  • Good level of English is a plus.
