Junior Accountant

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Qalat Bishah, Saudi Arabia. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks, including preparing and maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and looking to gain valuable experience in the accounting field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and processing transactions
• Prepare and maintain financial records including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and preparation of financial reports
• Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries or payment issues
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing degree)
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting role (internship experience will be considered)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
