Job summary
A technology solutions provider in Kuala Selangor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee project planning, team management, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Project Management, along with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience. Job description
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning:Work closely with the sales & development team to develop project plans, including scope/requirement, proposal, timelines, and resource allocation. Define project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
- Team Management:Lead and motivate project teams. Conduct weekly WIP meeting to provide guidance and direction to team members; identify and solve existing and potential blockers.
- Risk Management:Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address issues as they arise.
- Quality Assurance:Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes from the QA team to ensure that software meets the specified requirements and standards.
- Communication & Engagement:Maintain regular communication/engagement with clients/outsource parties/internal members to gather project requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Budget Control:Monitor project budgets and expenditures, making sure that projects stay within the allocated financial limits and timeline.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Possess good leadership, good experience of project management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage time well, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple urgent tasks efficiently.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 7 to 9 years of working experience Development/Project Management or relevant discipline.
- This position requires Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Project Management or related professions.
