Job description
Job Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting functions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against budget and providing variance analysis.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems, ensuring data accuracy and security, and providing training to staff as needed.
- Assist in strategic planning by providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and prepare tax filings accurately and on time.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Possess a Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin, enabling clear and concise communication with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, demonstrating a progressive understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with a proven ability to analyze financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
- Exhibit strong skills in financial accounting, including account reconciliation and the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Be adept at using accounting software to manage financial transactions, generate reports, and streamline accounting processes.
- Possess strategic planning skills, contributing to the development and implementation of financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
