Senior Manager, Software Development & Operations
We are seeking a positive, proactive, and experienced Senior Manager, Software Development & Operations to oversee software development activities and manage daily IT support and product enhancements. The role involves delivering efficient service and solutions, maximizing performance against KPIs and SLAs.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage regional software development and support activities by collaborating with team leads, developers, support staff, and business users.
- Liaise with stakeholders such as management, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
- Work with system analysts, developers, and testers to ensure software delivery as per specifications.
- Manage daily sprints with team leads and address impediments.
- Oversee IT support team activities, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Motivate team members in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Evaluate technologies and solutions, recommending appropriate options to the business.
- Coordinate resource allocation with the Head of Technology and assign tasks accordingly.
- Ensure timely delivery of software development projects within scope.
- Implement document control and secure coding policies.
- Assist with technical escalations and system design challenges.
- Advise on system performance improvements and innovative solutions.
- Monitor project progress and implement necessary changes.
- Ensure compliance with IT security, organizational policies, and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years in a managerial role leading a software development team (>10 members) and managing IT support.
- 5+ years as a software developer or team lead in PHP or MERN/MEAN stacks.
- Experience with agile project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Understanding of SDLC and secure coding practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
