A leading recruiting agency in Malaysia is seeking a Brand Controller for a 3-month contract. This role involves analyzing business profitability, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy in budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in finance with excellent Excel and SAP skills. Strong communication and analytical abilities are essential for this position.
The Brand Controller will be an integral part of the finance department and report to the Head of Consolidation & Brand Controlling.
The key responsibilities of the Brand Controller are to provide meaningful and valuable analysis and recommendation to the finance department and business department for business decision making, to improve the profitability & ensure business continuity.
The Brand Controller will ensure high quality of internal financial reports and management documents, such as monthly reporting, Annual Rolling Forecast, Annual Budgeting, forecast and provide ad hoc analysis for the business department.
The Brand Controller will evaluate accruals and daily control all expenses of the business department, such as variable and fixed commercial means, warranty, overhead etc. to ensure the actual performance to be in line with the annual target.
