A new technology manufacturing company in Johor is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide first-level support for hardware and software issues. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in IT, possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and be proficient in Mandarin. Key responsibilities include responding to IT tickets, performing system maintenance, and documenting IT processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with IT tools and software.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to and resolve IT tickets in a timely manner.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of IT systems.

This company is a new set-up foreign invested plant which is located at Senai, Johor, doing as an industrial connectors manufacturer. Besides, they also provide global supply chain which included automation, solar system, telecommunication and etc.
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to and resolve IT tickets in a timely manner.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of IT systems.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware.
- Monitor and maintain the organization\'s network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Support data backup processes and ensure data security.
- Assist in maintaining and implementing cybersecurity protocols.
- Document IT systems, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on IT infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
- Train employees on IT tools and promote adherence to IT policies.
- Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with IT tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, ticketing systems).
