As a Solution Architect within Amazon Web Services, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's services (like Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, and Amazon SQS, etc) within strategic accounts across Mexico.

Your broad responsibilities will include owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, and developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.

The ideal candidate will possess customer-facing skills that allow them to represent Amazon in a customer environment and drive discussions with senior personnel within the company, as well as a technical background that enables them to interact with software developers and architects. They should also demonstrate the ability to think structured about business, product, and technical challenges.

• Partner with the sales team to design solutions for customers, drive AWS adoption and revenue.
• Be an AWS evangelist. Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS.
• Establish credibility and build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Participate in deep architectural discussions to build confidence and ensure customer success when building new and migrating existing applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• Scope each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
• Own each engagement, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS SA community.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.
