Location: Remote – (Global)

Salary Range: USD / month

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 09:00 am to 05:00 pm (EST)

Position Overview

The WordPress Developer will play a key role in building and maintaining high-quality, design‑forward WordPress websites.

This role goes beyond technical execution, requiring a strong eye for front-end design, usability, and performance.

The ideal candidate understands how to translate thoughtful design into clean, scalable, and maintainable WordPress solutions.

Success in this role is driven by strong execution with WordPress page builders, attention to detail, and clear communication—not senior-level architecture ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing WordPress websites for long-term clients
• Build pages and post templates from Figma designs using Beaver Builder and Elementor
• Expand site content through new pages and reusable templates
• Collaborate with lead developers and designers to execute client requests
• QA work to ensure accurate design translation (spacing, fonts, colors, layout)
• Communicate progress and questions via ClickUp, Slack, and team meetings
• Explain and occasionally train clients or teammates on tools and site functionality
• Participate in online client meetings as needed
• Flag design or UX concerns to the design team when identified

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with WordPress
• Strong working experience with Beaver Builder and Elementor
• Fluency in HTML and CSS within WordPress themes and tools
• Ability to manage multiple small tasks across different projects
• Detail-oriented with a habit of proactively QA'ing work
• Comfortable learning new systems for project management and collaboration
• Clear communicator who asks questions and avoids assumptions
• Interest in accessibility, equity, and thoughtful user experiences

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with DNS and Cloudflare
• Exposure to Shopify
• Experience working with solo entrepreneurs or small teams.
