Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Server and Hypervisor Architect to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our enterprise‑level server infrastructure, with a focus on Windows Server environments and hypervisor technologies.

• Design and architect complex Hypervisor environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Design and architect complex Windows Server environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Implement and manage hypervisor VMware vSphere, and possible alternative Hypervisor solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for server infrastructure and virtualization environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate server and hypervisor solutions with other IT systems.
• Optimize server and hypervisor performance, capacity, and resource allocation.
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Provide technical Leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to Windows Server and Hypervisor technologies.
• Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with hypervisor technologies, such as VMware.
• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (various versions), Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Expertise in designing and implementing large‑scale server infrastructures.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
• In‑depth understanding of virtualization technologies and Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS).
• Experience with performance monitoring, optimization, and capacity planning for virtual environments.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and IT security best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to be on‑call and work flexible hours when required.
