About the role: Responsibilities

• Oversee forecasting, planning and analysis (FP&A), inclusive of month / quarter-end close, budget submissions, flashes, variance commentaries etc and managing against the global budget target.
• Lead financial performance monitoring and improvement plans.
• Develop and implement business and process improvements within finance and the broader organization as appropriate to scale the business.

(Ex. Management of compensation, etc.)

• Define and implement key performance indicators and strategic objectives and facilitates measurement of those objectives, reporting results back to the business.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices, including but not limited to tax laws, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), etc.
• Act as support and control Improvado's outsourced accounting partners in the US and abroad.
• Oversee business tax preparations by our outsourced accounting partner.
• Be the main point of contact for auditors.

Professional Qualifications

• Must be available to work in US timezone
• Must be fluent in the English language (speaking, reading, and writing)
• 10+ years of progressive roles in finance, strategic planning, consulting.
• 4+ years of successful experience in leading a finance or business planning function.
• BS degree in Finance or Economics and technical related field with excellent academic record.
• Strong Sheets / Excel knowledge and habit of working in several different software systems.
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to effectively develop relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience working at a SaaS company.
• Experience with a rapidly growing tech company is a plus!
