Job Description

Provide service in the operation of forklifts in a careful and timely manner, acting responsibly with the care of the work team and the workers. Provide the materials required for production and handle the loading and unloading of packaging and product in units (trailers and trucks).

Responsibilities
  • Check the physical and mechanical conditions of the forklift.
  • Fill out the checklist at the mechanical workshop before starting the operation.
  • Fuel up before starting the shift and ensure that the unit is free of materials and finished product.
  • Perform activities requested by the supervisor.
  • 2. Service to production lines
    • Deliver the right container to the production lines.
    • Ensure the timely supply of packaging and materials.
    • Remove pallets in accordance with established parameters; report deviations to the supervisor.
    • Store products according to the type of packaging.
    • Comply with PVPS procedures.
  • 3. Chartering service for palletized units
    • Check the physical condition of the product before loading and reporting irregularities.
    • Comply with PVPS procedures and scheduled load times.
    • Make arrangements of materials and products in warehouses and patios.
    • Load units according to type and quantity of product required.
  • 4. Closed unit chartering service
    • Verify physical condition of the product and labeling for export.
    • Ensure load according to the established layout.
    • Comply with PVPS procedures and scheduled load times.
    • Make arrangements of materials and products in dynamic warehouses and racks.
    • Load units with the required type and quantity of product.
  • 5. Accommodation in dynamic racks and warehouses
    • Comply with PVPS in dynamic racks.
    • Maintain communication with shipping personnel to comply with TPM.
    • Support staff in the peak area to maintain order and cleanliness.
  • 6. Service to product preparation equipment
    • Prepare work area before starting assigned activities.
    • Provide necessary materials and products.
    • Check the physical condition of the product and report irregularities.
    • Comply with PVPS procedures and product preparation times.
  • 7. Collaboration in company programs and projects
    • Actively participate in implemented programs and projects.
    • Comply with the good use, use and savings of resources: energy, water, gas, raw materials, supplies, packaging, materials, tools, equipment, finished product and waste.
    • Comply with Quality, Order and Cleanliness, BHMS, Safety and Health, Ecology and Safety programs.
  • 8. Management System Compliance and Continuous Improvement
    • Document, implement, maintain and improve management and continuous improvement systems.
    • Comply with guidelines established in applicable manuals, procedures, and instructions.
    • Propose improvements in Quality, Safety, Environmental and Safety.
    • Comply with legal regulatory guidelines applicable to your process and activity.
    • Report anomalies regarding environmental performance or identified risks.
    • Participate in identifying environmental aspects, hazards and evaluating impacts.
    • Apply operational controls to mitigate environmental and safety risks.
    • Consult and implement emergency plans in the event of spills.
    • Use EPP properly.
    • Use lifting equipment only if you are trained and authorized.
    • Perform a thorough inspection of equipment according to the checklist and report defects.
    • Avoid climbing people on load equipment, exceeding effort limits or angle of inclination of the mast, leaving the unit turned on or with a suspended load.
    • Respect the maximum and minimum capacity of the equipment and use of a seat belt.
  • 9. Compliance with regulations and policies
    • Comply with Internal Labor Regulations, Code of Ethics, PMD and other company and group rules, policies and procedures.
  • 10. Promotion of a good working environment
    • Establish good personal and working relationships with colleagues, contractors, visitors, suppliers and the community.
    • Keep work area and company facilities clean and in good condition.

Education

Required minimum studies: High school completed.

Desirable studies: Preparatory or technical career.

Certified forklift operator.

Environmental Facet: Waste management, water culture, ozone protection, energy efficiency, ISO 14001, environmental impacts, 3 R's, wastewater.

Quality Assurance Facet: Record Control, Documentary Control, 5-Why Analysis, Quality and Safety Policy, ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO TS 22000 Prerequisites, Good Manufacturing Habits, Cross-Contamination, Food Protection.

Health Facet: Preservation of hearing, personal hygiene, manual handling of loads, extreme temperatures, accident procedures.

Safety Facet: Fire prevention, management of NOM-002-STPS-2008 fire extinguishers, use of EPP NOM-017-STPS-2008, evacuation procedures, identification of SQP NOM-018-STPS-2000, dissemination of safety policy, accident investigation, IPERC, ISO 45001:2018, preventive observation, material handling and forklifts.

Experience

Product or merchandise warehouses: minimum 1 year.

Forklift operation: minimum 1 year.
