El candidato ideal tendrá una licenciatura en ingeniería y experiencia entre 4 y 10 años. Se requiere dominio en SolidWorks y habilidades de comunicación efectivas. Ofrecemos un salario mensual de $50,000 a $60,000, con beneficios de seguro de vida y bonificaciones de productividad. El trabajo es presencial y se requiere disponibilidad para diferentes turnos.

Formación

• 4-10 años de experiencia en ingeniería de proyectos de soporte de herramientas y equipos de vuelo, o rol similar.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Design Engineer to support the design, development, and execution of die and tooling systems for our new project manufacturing operations.

The Tool & Die Design Engineer will focus on designing a variety of tools and equipment, including dies, gauges, jigs and fixtures.

The engineer will utilize SolidWorks modeling software to create designs and integrate with forging machinery while considering factors such as accessibility, ergonomics, safety, and performance requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the development of tool & die design concepts with input from other pertinent departments.
• Determine the feasibility of designing tools or the modification of existing tools, taking into consideration costs, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors.
• Ensure dies meet production process intent for cost, quality & repeatability.
• Assemble and organize tooling drawings, assist in obtaining tooling quotations from vendors.
• Develop and implement forging die designs to improve product quality and reduce costs.
• Maintain the tooling documentation procedure, including change orders, materials asset log and drawings.
• Perform vendor die design reviews ensuring die robustness and performance targets are met.
• Assist with proper orientation and set up of new tooling and following up and documentation of any required modifications.
• Utilize 3D modeling software to conceptualize and create industrial machinery, equipment, and tools.

Requisitos

Education & Experience

• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 4-10 years' experience in tools and flight support equipment project engineering, or similar role.
• Preferable experiencer working in Project Management activities.
• Proficient in CAD / CAE environments, preferably with SolidWorks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, JIRA, and / or Costpoint preferred.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills with experience communicating to senior decision-makers and technical audiences.
• Ability to work in a small team environment with broad responsibilities and mínimal oversight.
