• Install, configure, and manage Windows Server (2008–2022) and Linux systems
• Administer users and groups in Active Directory and LDAP
• Support and manage cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS), Windows, and virtualization environments
• Manage system pathing, permissions, and configurations to optimize performance
• Identify, assess, and mitigate system vulnerabilities to ensure security compliance

Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to balance business needs with DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24x7x365 server availability, security, performance, and updates
• Manage VMware vCenter, ESXi, and Nutanix environments
• Deploy and support AWS services like VPC, EC2, S3, ELB, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Optimize cloud resources with tagging, budgeting, and cost control
• Expertise in PowerShell, VBScript, and batch scripting
• Handle major incidents, root cause analysis, and Active Directory services
• Manage Windows and Linux patches
• Address vulnerabilities and enhance system security
• Recommend improvements for system scalability, stability, and efficiency
• Work with NAS, SAN, and backup infrastructure
• Familiarity with Linus and Windows clustering
• Set up terminal licensing, jump hosts, and application deployments
• Understand scalability, networking, security, and monitoring
• Develop automation and deployment strategies
• Maintain detailed documentation and standard operating procedures
• Configure Apache, Tomcat, Postfix, and use tools like Ansible
• Manage critical systems, virtualization, and fault analysis
• Use tools like Zabbix, CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Prepare reports on patching, vulnerabilities, and compliance
