Now, Let’s Get Down to Business

The Floor Spervisor position is responsible for supervise the daily compliance of the production program, coordinating different resources as people, materials, machinery, corrective, and preventive maintenance to ensure the required production levels with the quality level needed.

Essential Functions

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise the policy safety compliance during the shift for the personnel to his charge.
• To assign people to the different process according to the production priorities.
• During the shift, supervise the correct execution of standard work, to guarantee the required quality levels, to reduce the scrap and increase the process efficiency. To sign the initial carton box for each machine to ensure the quality requirement.
• Supervise each PVA machine to ensure the hour-by-hour samples
• During the shift, supervise the correct execution of standard work, to guarantee the required quality levels, to reduce the scrap and increment the process efficiency.
• Verify the raw material availability to ensure the continued flow production.
• Check out the proper fill out for the different documentation in the area.
• Supervise the follow up for the 6´s program.
• Identify insecure safety conditions, opportunity areas for quality, productivity and use the newspaper tool for follow up.
• Attend the weekly meeting for his area.
• Participate in Kaizen event when his help is required.
