Una empresa en Tijuana busca un planificador comprador estratégico de cadena de suministro. Esta persona coordinará la disposición de NCMRs y apoyará las actividades de aseguramiento de calidad, asegurando el cumplimiento regulatorio y la gestión de costos. Se requiere un título en negocios o ingeniería, fluidez en inglés y español, y competencias en Lean Manufacturing. Posibilidad de trabajo a tiempo completo con un horario diurno.

Formación

• Capacidad para aprender rápidamente nuevos sistemas y procedimientos.
• Fluido en inglés y español.
• Debe pasar prueba de drogas y verificación de antecedentes.

• Coordinar la disposición de NCMRs y actividades de QA.

Coordinate the timely disposition of NCMR's and support all QA activities to communicate non-conformance and corrective actions with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provides management with clear, timely and accurate information with which to make decisions.
• Alerts management to deviations (or potential deviations) from established plans.
• Capable of ensuring timely and effective completion of Shortage Report, Late P.O.s, MRP Action Messages,
• Coordinates & expedites the placement of purchase orders and / or delivery of material.
• Ensure data accuracy and maintenance of parts in ERP system; including lead times, ABC classifications, safety stock level, and other planning features.
• Costing Knowledge (Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)) / Negotiation - Possess knowledge of material costing, including many of the elements of TCO such as inspections, packaging, shipping.
• Business Acumen / Situational Awareness - Possess reasoning skills to understand situations and make business decisions that usually result in a positive outcome.
• Performs other duties as required.

Capable of not only buying components at Target Cost, but also able to drive favorable PPV.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory control and physical inventories as necessary
• Assist with various manufacturing activities as necessary
• Support R & D with development projects
• Work closely with Quality Dept personnel in order to ensure regulatory compliance
• Preference given to demonstrable competencies in Lean Manufacturing (e.g. Toyota Production System). Including leading Kaizens / Continuous Improvement techniques, Standard Work, Single Piece Flow, Kanban, 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, and Poka Yoke

Position Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering
• Ability to rapidly learn new systems and procedures
• Able to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Able to work under general supervision and guidelines.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

• Must have the ability to work independently.
