The ideal candidate will have an Engineering Degree and experience with robotic equipment, PLCs, and maintenance processes. Formación

• Engineering degree preferred to oversee plant engineering programs.

Overview

Staff Engineer (Assembly Process) – Production, Operations and R&D – Monterrey (Mexico)

Responsibilities

1. Under the supervision of the Plant Engineering Manager, develop, maintain and lead project-engineering programs to keep automated equipment in good operating condition, through preventive and corrective maintenance.
2. Ensure the correct operation of control programs according to production necessities.
3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to control devices and avoid malfunctions or delays.
4. Maintain and resolve problems of all Plant equipment, such as PLCs, Robots, Drives, sensors and instrumentation.
5. Support manufacturing improvement through robust operations standards and supports a safe work environment.
6. Design and build small machines to improve production work and reduce takt time.
7. Advise and/or respond to automation problems on a 24-hour basis as needed.
8. Perform assignments established by the supervisor to maintain plant equipment in good operating conditions.
9. External Business Relationships: Moderate contact with tooling and machine vendors.

Qualifications

Education: Preference Engineering Degree.
