What awaits you?

The Stacking and Gluing process is a critical joining technology within the production of our high voltage battery components. This specialized process requires control over technical parameters and quality assurance to guarantee the integrity and performance of the final energy module.

  • Own and drive the parameter setup, quality control, and continuous optimization of critical joining technologies to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality components
  • Enable and secure the production process during both line setup and new product integration. Expertly manage all incoming product and process changes specifically impacting the cell stacking scope
  • Lead the execution and reevaluation of Process Capability Studies (CpK/PpK). Proactively monitor the cell stacking process and resolve complex technical deviations to minimize disruption.
  • Support the Process Planning department by contributing expertise to the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) process and evaluating technical changes. Participate in the approval of process changes and the comprehensive risk identification for the overall module project.
  • Provide expert technical support to operators, process planning, and maintenance teams, focusing on eliminating complex faults during both ramp-up phases and series production.
  • Actively participate in cross-plant working groups to develop and standardize technical best practices. Coordinate closely with external parts suppliers regarding out-of-tolerance components to enforce stringent component quality standards.
What should you bring along?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field is required/preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in the automotive industry.
  • 2+ years of work experience in an automated manufacturing environment or similar technology.
  • Extensive experience in gluing, ideally as an expert with 2-component adhesives.
