A leading logistics company based in Tepotzotlán is seeking a detail-oriented Sr Operations Manager to oversee operations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, 6+ years in performance management, and be fluent in English and Spanish. Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands‑on, and customer‑obsessed Sr Operations Manager. In this role, you will drive innovation in Amazon's Transportation Operations Manager Team.

Own end-to-end TOM operations for a stand‑alone sites. Lead Operations and Area Managers to deliver safety, quality, cost, and speed at scale. Balance strategy and execution to raise the bar on customer experience through mechanisms, coaching, and continuous improvement.

Location : MEX3 Tepozotlan, Edo Mex. and oversee multiple sites across Mexico, city metro area.

Shifts : Variable; includes nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Key job responsibilities
Strategy & Results
  • Own the yard plan : Deliver the functional budget and targets for safety, productivity, quality, labor, and financials.
  • Plan ahead : Lead lmid-range planning (3-6 months), including labor modeling, volume forecasting, and Peak readiness.
  • Improve continuously : Charter and deliver initiatives that reduce defects and waste, increase throughput, and simplify processes—at building level.
  • Raise standards : Define clear input / output metrics for Safety, Quality, Productivity, and CX. Review weekly; inspect mechanisms; course‑correct fast.
  • Scale mechanisms : Share and adopt best practices across sites to drive network efficiency and cost savings.
People & Leadership
  • Lead leaders : Set goals for Area Managers, inspect performance, give direct feedback, and hold owners accountable.
  • Develop talent : Mentor and build leadership bench strength; create succession plans and growth paths.
  • Staff smart : Own full staffing lifecycle—interviewing, hiring, onboarding, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
  • Partner to win : Secure resources and alignment with HR, Finance, Safety, IT, and peer leaders to de‑risk launches and accelerate delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge / FTE) experience
  • Work a flexible schedule / shift / work area, including weekends, nights, and / or holidays
  • 6+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English and Spanish
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
