The Senior Sourcing Specialist serves as a strategic leader within the Procurement department, collaborating closely with Sourcing Managers to drive transformative change and align with evolving demands from channel partners and internal stakeholders. This role represents Procurement in high-level cross-functional meetings, oversees comprehensive sourcing data analytics, and ensures seamless integration of procurement strategies into operational processes. As a key liaison between internal teams and global suppliers, the specialist fosters innovation in supplier ecosystems, mitigates enterprise-wide supply chain risks, and delivers measurable cost savings that directly impact profitability. The role contributes to the Commodity Management Team by forecasting technical trends, securing competitive cost estimates and quotes, conducting detailed cost breakdown analyses for negotiation leverage, and cultivating strategic supplier partnerships to enhance ASB's leadership in the Bath & Kitchen industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required. A technical background relevant to the products being developed is highly preferred. Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Procurement, with a strong track record of successful project execution. Experience working with Ariba Sourcing, Ariba contracting, Ariba SLP and S4. Bilingual (Spanish & English) required. Exceptional initiative, problem‑solving acumen, and self‑starter mindset, with the resilience to thrive independently under pressure, adapt to shifting priorities, and deliver results in fast‑paced environments. Proficiency in advanced analytics tools (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Excel modeling, or BI software) for cost forecasting, risk assessment, and component cost analysis. Strong preference for hands‑on work experience in the Bath & Kitchen industry, with familiarity in sanitaryware, fixtures, and sustainable sourcing.
