What you will bring to the team

IT Hunters Corp is seeking a self-directed Java Developer with previous experience in software development, to join our team in all Mexico.

The Software Engineer designs, builds, and supports custom software solutions for some of the world’s companies.

What you will be doing

Your typical day as a Sr Java Developer will involve :

• Creating product user’s documentation
• Extending the automation / continuous integration platform, including tests
• Providing technical guidance during requirements workshops with our clients
• Develop Code

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have and know of :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience with Object-Oriented design and design patterns
• Exceptional English written and verbal communication.
• 8+ years of software development experience
• 8+ years of Java-based development
• Experience with Software Testing, JUnit, TestNG, Spring testing, Mockito, Selenium
• Spring Framework
• Extensive development experience with Java SE / EE including Java 8 or 11
• Comprehensive SDLC experience (requirements, architecture, design, testing and eployment)
• Databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL and NoSQL)
• JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3 and JSON / XML
• React, Angular, Bootstrap, Sass and jQuery
• Cross-platform development Windows / Linux

Preferred Skills

• Scrum / Kanban / Scrumban Agile methodologies
• Version control tools and methods : Git / SVN
• Familiarity with the software engineering lifecycle and methodologies
• Windows and Linux-based operating systems.
• CI / CD
• Web Servers
• Cloud computing
• Micro-services architecture
