Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and data-driven applications
• Develop scalable APIs and microservices using Python and / or Node.js
• Own features end-to-end—from analysis to deployment
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems
• Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask) and Node.js / TypeScript
• Experience with AWS or Azure
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, Elastic, RDS)
• Experience with Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes (plus)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience in Agile environments
• Nice to Have: Serverless production experience
• Nice to Have: Third-party API integrations
