What You’ll Do

The Sourcing Excellence team is part of the Global Supplier Management (GSM) Center of Excellence with a goal of implementing the “New Way of Working” in collaboration with Lead & Regional Category Managers and Purchasing Agents.

Reporting into the Director Sourcing Excellence, the Sourcing Excellence Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper readiness of our supply base to support our corporate growth targets. This includes being a critical stakeholder within the Infinity process to receive, understand, interpret, and validate data against various category strategies. This also includes ownership and management of the Supplier Segmentation and Business Review process and working with the larger Strategic Sourcing team to manage and unlock supplier capability and innovation. The Sourcing Excellence Manager will have to work closely with our internal stakeholders to ensure proper alignment and assessment of category strategy against supplier capabilities as measured by supplier scorecards and other tools. This position will involve leading efforts on a global basis interacting with multiple geographies, work cultures and departments. You’ll get to:

  • Implement strategic supplier management, minimizing supplier risk, enabling supplier segmentation and strategy as part of Global Supply Management’s Center of Excellence.
  • Execute processes and tools to adequately measure suppliers in support of SBD growth initiatives.
  • Manage strategy creation for key suppliers in coordination with category managers to ensure supplier capacity, capability, value and quality.
  • Structure Supplier Management initiatives including Business Reviews, Supplier Surveys and Supplier Conferences.
  • Drive closure and resolution to any ongoing constraint to our growth plans by working collaboratively with the strategic sourcing team and the supplier.
  • Promote the usage of the Global Supplier Portal by strategic, collaborative and leveraging suppliers.

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing
  • Functional experience in sourcing /atuan procurement; must have a balance of both strategic and operational capacities, including global sourcing, supplier management, commodity risk management, etc.
  • Execution Excellence: Planning & organizing, time management, process orientation, process adherence
  • Global mindset with experience working in an international/multi-cultural matrix environment (cross‑functional and external)
  • Strong program, transformation, and supply chain management skills.
  • Ability to conceive strategic program initiatives, plan them, sell ideas and execute.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Project Management.
  • Must be willing to travel approximately 10‑15%.
