Overview

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Shopify Full Stack Developer in Latin America.

This role offers the chance to lead complex enterprise-level Shopify projects, integrating e-commerce platforms with various enterprise systems such as ERPs and POS solutions. You will work on high-impact, large-scale technical challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions. The position provides significant autonomy, responsibility for system architecture, and the opportunity to innovate within a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Ideal candidates are self-motivated problem solvers with strong technical expertise, capable of managing complex projects and mentoring others when needed.

Accountabilities
  • Architect and implement enterprise-level Shopify solutions, integrating with external systems including ERPs and POS platforms.
  • Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps, GraphQL API integrations, and platform-specific tooling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project requirements, architecture, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure high-quality code through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the Shopify stack.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Participate in client communication and technical presentations to support project success.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Shopify development, with strong knowledge of GraphQL API integrations.
  • Proficiency with Shopify CLI tools and custom app development.
  • Strong command of modern web technologies: Node.js, React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Proven experience designing scalable systems and enterprise-level integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and client communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently on complex projects.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Previous experience in an agency environment is preferred.
  • Nice to have: experience with Remix, Hydrogen, or mentoring junior developers.
  • Full-time role: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
  • Salary: $5,000 USD per month.
  • 100% remote position within Latin America.
  • Unlimited PTO and flexible work environment.
