About the Role:

As the Automotive Sector Assurance Assessment Services Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality assurance assessment services within the automotive sector across the Americas. This role involves managing a diverse team of assessors, leading business development initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services aligned with BSI’s mission to be the most trusted authority in management system assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leading Team & Building Capacity: Oversee resource planning, ensure assessor availability, drive efficiency, and reduce lead times.
  2. Developing Competence & Productivity: Expand assessor expertise, ensure ongoing training, and optimize service delivery.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, address concerns, and foster long-term partnerships.
  4. Driving Business Growth: Identify market opportunities, support onboarding, and promote sustainable growth.
  5. Ensuring Operational Excellence: Manage assessment projects to meet client needs, budgets, and timelines, while improving operational performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in people management and 2 years in professional services like auditing, consulting, or training. Experience managing virtual or technical teams is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and management system standards; experience with IATF standards is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Lead Assessor qualifications are preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Proven leadership skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commercial acumen for market opportunities and client management.
  • Willingness to travel within Mexico and across the Americas (up to 50%).
