About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Security Engineer to work alongside Damian Finol, our Head of DevSecOps.

You will play a critical role in safeguarding our users' data and ensuring the integrity of our platform.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures to protect our infrastructure against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Networking Security: Implement security protocols, manage EDRs (SentinelOne) and best practices across our network infrastructure to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
• Alerting and Monitoring: Develop and oversee effective monitoring systems to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Help us manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive data and to execute sensitive commands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role
• Highly Preferred: Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification from Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies
• Experience with security monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS / IPS)
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and penetration testing methodologies
• Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
