Responsibilities

The Opportunity: As an R&D Product Development Scientist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of formula development from bench-top to commercialization, leading Technical Brand Stewardship, brand maintenance, and business continuity projects across the LATAM beverages portfolio, while ensuring product design integrity and delivering safe, stable, and compliant formulations in close collaboration with cross-functional R&D and business partners.

Your Impact.

• Flawless execution of bench-top applications, including prototype development, formula creation, specification generation, and related validation procedures and best practices to ensure safe, stable, and compliant formulations.
• Meeting the success criteria assigned to each project, including on-time delivery metrics.
• Maintaining laboratory facilities, raw material and laboratory supply inventories up to date, and ensuring that work areas, shelf-life chambers, and storage rooms are organized and free of expired samples and materials.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

• 1–3 years of experience in R&D or within the food industry, ideally in product development or formulation roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Full-time, hands-on laboratory role involving bench-top work and analytical testing; experience with beverage formulation is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain an orderly and compliant laboratory environment.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to evolving business and project needs.
