We are looking for a Product Owner based in Latin America to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, a Non-profit Organization based in New York.

Our client is a nonprofit organization that offers free, 24/7, confidential mental health support via text message, in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and other leaders to ensure product delivery aligns with our client's strategic priorities.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure features are built correctly, efficiently, and on an established timeline.
• Act as the voice of the user for the development team, clarifying business and user needs.
• Define acceptance criteria and validate completed user stories, ensuring delivered work aligns with requirements.
• Partner with engineering to lead the team's agile ceremonies with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ensure effective cross-functional communication across engineering, design, research, customers, and product teams, with an emphasis on clearly communicating dependencies and user needs.
• Create and maintain a well-defined and prioritized backlog.
• Craft clearly defined epics and user stories with measurable outcomes that drive user value.
• Anticipate roadblocks and remove them.
• Discover technical and business dependencies, and create a path forward.
• Coordinate strategic workstreams across multiple organizations (internal, affiliate, and key service providers) to ensure alignment.
• Proactively identify improvements for team processes and solutions when challenges arise.

Requirements

• Advanced level of English.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a cloud, B2B or SaaS environment.
• 1+ years of experience independently gathering and synthesizing requirements from users and stakeholders, and collaborating with design and engineering to translate them into clear, actionable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into clear user stories.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of collaborative partnerships with engineering, design, external customers and internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proven experience with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
