The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in financial services, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. In this role, you’ll manage the successful development and implementation of product initiatives in support of Western Union's business development growth objectives.

Role Responsibilities
  • Integrate local partners into Western Union’s platform to provide: Correspondent Banking, Bill Payments, Mobile top ups and Lending by forming partnerships, defining contracts, and setting integration requirements to improve value, customer satisfaction, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure Tech team’s implementation of front-end and back-end integrations and configurations.
  • Document workflows and SLAs to strengthen partnership management.
  • Manage sprint delivery and coordinate QA.
  • Manage budget and P&L to meet financial targets.
  • Ensure timely, accurate payment processing.
  • Oversee partner accounts for reconciliation.
  • Track metrics and optimize payment solutions.
  • Coordinate feature releases.
  • Responsible for managing various aspects of each product initiative, including risk mitigation, distribution, business requirements, product roadmap, and project approvals.
  • Leading local cross functional teams in support of implementing product initiatives, including internal, external and third-party resources.
Role Requirements
  • To be successful in this role you will have 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in Remittance, Retail Banking, Digital Payments, Mobile Money and other financial services.
  • You have a good understanding of the financial services markets or retail and digital operations and an understanding of today’s technological standards
  • You exhibit high energy and show enthusiasm to get into actions to drive the business and get results, willing to step in even outside business hours in case of service issues; ability to multi-task and handle pressure in a high energy environment will be a key success factor
  • You are familiar with pricing strategies, can influence decisions and are good at negotiation and have a good understanding of the digital business.
  • You can communicate well and able to bridge the gap between global styles of business practices.
  • Background in managing direct and cross-functional teams.
  • English proficiency is a must.
