A multinational financial services corporation based in Veracruz, Mexico is seeking a finance professional with at least 3 years of experience in Finance, Product Control, or Market Risk. The role involves preparing balance sheets and financial reports, performing profitability analysis, and requires deep knowledge of financial products. Candidates should be fluent in English and possess strong Excel skills. This position is office-based, promoting an inclusive workplace culture.

Formación

  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance, Product Control, Market Risk, or Middle-Office in Investment Banks.
  • Deep knowledge of financial products: FX & IR derivatives, bonds, and options.
  • Understanding of Latin America global markets dynamics and products.

Responsabilidades

  • Prepare and analyze balance sheets and P&L reports.
  • Perform month-end close and financial reporting.
  • Assist in profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting.

Conocimientos

Experience in Finance, Product Control, Market Risk

Responsibilities
  • Supports with preparing and analyzing balance sheets and Profit and Loss (P&L) reports and validates postings and balances for a product aligned to a Line of Business (LOB) using knowledge of financial products, market risk profiles, and risk mitigation techniques and strategies
  • Performs month-end close and financial reporting, critical testing and calculations, and periodic analysis
  • Assists in the development of strategic and annual planning efforts and implementations and performs profitability analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting for a product or general ledger account type
  • Partners closely with the front office, Operations, and Technology to support defining business finance processes and implementing related technology solutions
Core skills and requirements
  • At least 3 years of Experience in Finance, Product Control, Market Risk or Middle-Office in Investment Banks;
  • Deep knowledge of Financial products : FX & IR Derivatives, Bonds and Options;
  • Understanding of Latin America global markets dynamics and products;
  • Graduated in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or correlated areas;
  • High level of numeracy and proficiency in financial mathematics;
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills to make sound and independent judgment and decisions under rapidly changing and often stressful environment;
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken);
  • Strong ability in Excel.
