As a Process Engineer, you design, implement, and improve industrial processes to optimize the production of goods and services. Your work is essential to ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and profitability in manufacturing, transforming raw materials into finished products and ensuring that production targets and regulations are met.

Main Activities

• Develop activities involving the production process, meeting customer requirements, as well as solving and analyzing process problems using statistics and techniques for understanding the process and product.
• participate in programs to reduce variation and waste, applying continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
• Responsible of equipment and machinery‑related activities to facilitate installation, modifications, etc., to achieve safety, quality, production, and cost specifications, meeting established deadlines to avoid impacting the customer.
• Modify layouts, taking into account existing or new hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical installations, as well as air, water, and drainage emissions.
• Participate in and support experimental runs to evaluate improvements and changes for the introduction of new or existing products or processes.
• Monitor the main causes of waste and downtime in the processes under your responsibility, and develop a continuous improvement plan using statistical tools.
• Manage of important projects within the assigned area, fostering your ability to analyze and improve processes.
• Review and approve technical documentation generated by the team, design and develop the manufacturing process, establish, implement, and improve operating procedures.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of statistics and data analysis. Minitab, Pareto charts, plot charts.
• Knowledge of methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Core Tools.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
