This role supports the Sales organization and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions for the applied products and technology.

The work model for the role is: L-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the ELECTRIFICATION team and stakeholders.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Responsibilities
  • Offering technical advice and providing comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB’s products/systems/applications.
  • Providing technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.
  • Performing analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet the customer needs; and proposing the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries.
  • Delivering product/solution/service-related training; and supporting the managers in preparing and validating the technical articles to publish.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or other Engineering or relevant equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years with ABB and GE products
  • In depth knowledge of ABB and GE and competitor residential, distribution, and control products, including load centers, transformers, modular metering, industrial breakers, panel boards, motor control, pushbuttons, safety switches, and programming MODBUS
  • Strong team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate in English with US Customers via the phone and email.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
