About The Role

The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team. They should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, logistics, and safety.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that support corporate goals and local regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage plant budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, environmental regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork across all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with local and corporate leadership on strategic planning, reporting, and performance reviews.
  • Represent the plant in audits, inspections, and community relations.
  • Support new product introductions and process innovations.
  • Standardization of best manufacturing practices within Leviton operations.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop plant leadership and staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Coordinate with HR on workforce planning, training, and employee relations.
  • Place the health, safety, and welfare of all employees foremost in decision-making, policy, development and directing the organization
  • Maintain employee relations to maximize the contribution of each employee in a participative environment. Optimize morale and minimize turnover and absenteeism.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum ten years’ experience in manufacturing operations, with at least five (5) years in a plant leadership role.
