A global manufacturing solutions provider is seeking a planner to support production planning for the Kentucky site. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining production orders, monitoring material availability, and leading reports to prevent delays. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP. This role requires the ability to work independently and effectively manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

  • 1-2 years of experience in production planning or related environment.
  • Knowledge of BOM hierarchy, components, and relationships.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

JOB SUMMARY

The planner will be responsible for supporting the production planning activities for the Kentucky site remotely ensuring timely and accurate creation, release, and maintenance of production orders. This role plays a key part in preventing production delays by monitoring material availability, coordinating with cross‑functional teams, and leading shortage review activities through CTS reporting. Responding promptly to operational needs and escalations. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in ERP and Excel tools, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Occasional onsite support at the Kentucky facility may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create, release, and maintain production orders for the Kentucky site remotely, and attend onsite meetings if required.
  • Monitor material availability and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to prevent production delays.
  • Generate and analyze CTS reports; lead meetings with purchasing team to review shortages and ensure alignment with the build plan.
  • Provide planning support during assigned shifts, ensuring timely response to operations and escalation needs.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in production planning, supply chain, or a manufacturing environment for 1 or 2 years.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP (preferred).
  • Familiarity with BOM (Bill of Materials) hierarchy, components, and relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, macros, data management, and analysis.
  • Strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Valid passport and U.S. visa highly desirable.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
SHIFT DESCRIPTION
  • Regular weekday schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
