A global electronic components manufacturer is seeking an NPD Engineer - Global to manage engineering projects from inception to completion. This role involves new product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and interfacing with customers to define requirements. Applicants should have a degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in designing electromechanical products. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. The NPD Engineer - Global manages the operational aspects of small engineering projects from inception through implementation. Coordinates cross‑functional teams and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
New product development of low‑medium‑high voltage electrical products
Participate in the introduction of new product designs into production
Evaluate existing product lines and identify design modifications for cost reduction and/or performance improvement
Interface with customers to define applications and fuse requirements and identify product design opportunities and solutions
Maintain accurate and valid project planning documentation for assigned projects, including schedule and necesarios resource plans.
Coordinate the relationship with the team for flawless execution of projects.
Track, report on relevant communications, including issues, dependencies, and risks as appropriate and in accordance with project governance.

Bachelor’s or university degree in Engineering.
Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written communication skills)
5 years experience designing electromechanical products
5 years experience with 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proven project management skills
Familiarity with manufacturing processes
Knowledge of third‑party agency approval processes
